Sr. Sales Engineer/Technical Acct. Director

Position: Senior Sales Engineer / Technical Account Director
Location: London
Company: The company is a recognized leader in the mobile TV and On‐Device Portal markets. It is an established, well funded start‐up that already boasts a highly impressive client base including some of the world’s best known media and entertainment companies. The company is now actively seeking new senior talent to join the sales team to help drive the business to the next level.

Responsibilities:
• Assist the sales team to develop, qualify and close high‐value new business
sales opportunities by providing technical expertise.
• Manage the technical relationship with the customer/prospect during the
sales cycle and resolve any technical issues or concerns.
• Present the company’s products and services from a technical perspective
with credibility at all levels of the client organisation.
• Manage accounts post sales from a technical standpoint and provide
customers with regular updates on new product development activity.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years technical pre‐sales experience including first‐hand
knowledge of the mobile data services market.
• Comprehensive understanding and appreciation for internet related
technologies including HTML, WML/WAP, XML, TCP/IP, JAVA and
Symbian.
• Experience of a multi‐discipline solution sales environment preferably
within the telco and/or content provider market.
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills. Must have the ability to win the
trust and confidence of colleagues, partners and clients at all levels.
