The Mobil Monday group has officially launched the Mobile Excellence Awards program, and entries are now being accepted. The awards will take place on October 30, 2008 at the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, North Hollywood, CA.

This year awards will be handed out in five separate categories:

• Mobile Business,
• Mobile Technology,
• Mobile Marketing,
• Mobile Entertainment, and
• a Overall People’s Choice Award for Best Of in the Industry.

Submissions are now open and actively being accepted online. They will be judged on creative and business criteria described in the online materials.
