Gameloft Looks To Increase Distribution Through CPA Mobile Affiliate Campaign

gameloft_game.jpgGameloft, a leading international publisher and developer of video games for mobile phones, has announced the launch of a “performance-based” advertising campaign to build distribution of its popular game titles.

Gameloft creates games for mobile handsets equipped with Java, Brew or Symbian technology, and owns and operates titles such as Block Breaker Deluxe, Asphalt: Urban GT and New York Nights.

Currently they have distribution in over 80 countries through major telephone wireless carriers, handset manufacturers, specialized distributors and their own online shop.

Gameloft has partnered with Texomobile to use its MobPartner platform for affiliate sales of the titles. According to the agreement, all Gameloft games will be available for download through the MobPartner platform in 15 countries: USA, England, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, India, Indonesia, Philippines, South Africa and Colombia, with 16 others to come in the next two months.

According to Gameloft, mobile CPA affiliation campaigns (cost by acquisition) are already successful: they offer advertisers and media agencies the opportunity to control client acquisition costs and improve sales, downloads and qualified contacts.

“To continue moving in the same direction that we are on the web, Gameloft is moving to a performance-based advertising model on mobile,” said Salima Maury, Head of Advertising for Gameloft.

The affiliation network of MobPartner is around 45,000 affiliates in more than 100 countries, and offers advertisers and media agencies a way to acquire clients in a “cost control” method based on CPA model tracking, fraud management, statistics and reporting.

“Our affiliates were waiting for this campaign impatiently, and are very enthusiastic about the money they can generate,” declared Vianney Settini, Co-founder of TexoMobile. “More than 1,000 mobile sites in the world are now promoting the Gameloft CPA campaign, and the number of daily sales is growing every day.”
