Q Research: ad acceptance in teens

q.gifQ Research published findings from its latest survey on what Britain’s young people think about receiving advertising messages on their mobile phones. The research, published in the report ‘Mobiles
and Advertising’, shows that targeting advertising messages to the individual recipient is the key to success with this often-elusive audience.

32% of the teens said they would be happy to receive ads on their phones. However, when asked about ad targeted to their personal interests, the number willing to receive ads doubled to 71%.
