Campaign Objective:
This campaign’s objective was to help consumers see the Malibu brand in a new light and was an extension of the “Get Your Island On” campaign that aimed to show that you can enjoy a little Caribbean spirit anywhere in the world.

Description:
This bowling application for mobile phones puts a Caribbean spin on bowling by allowing consumers to bowl in a rum Shack, on the beach, in an underground cave or inside an aquarium.

As one would expect, Malibu branding features prominently in the application, with Malibu bottles acting as bowling pins.

Results:
As of December 2009, the game had been downloaded around 2 million times of which 438,419 coming through mobile app store GetJar.
