Sales Executive – Mobile Application Development Solutions

The Role:
The company seeks an experienced software product sales professional to be responsible for the sale of cross-platform mobile applications solutions and services to application developers and software publishers mainly in the games industry and with an increasing focus on Europe. With a strong and experienced management, they are building a world-leading team to build the product franchise.

The Opportunity:
The mobile application market is experiencing unprecedented growth, with over 500m ‘smartphone’ devices active today and a forecast of more than 1bn by 2015. Pioneered by Apple’s iPhone, application developers now have the opportunity to deploy applications on a variety of platforms. Developing for one and deploying on many is a compelling business proposition, and likely to take the market by storm.

Backed by a combination of private investors and a semi-conductor giant, our Client has developed a suite of software development tools and services for application developers and software publishers that enables them to build mobile applications and deploy them across multiple device types and operating systems. The technology has been adopted by several significant mobile games publishers, and has recently been adopted by a major phone manufacturer for use worldwide with its new handsets.

Key Responsibilities:
The role will report to the VP of Sales, and key responsibilities will cover the following:
• Identification and qualification of target accounts through direct engagement and collaboration with agents.
• Direct engagement, negotiation and conclusion of product and service sales to achieve monthly and quarterly sales revenue targets.
• Input to product marketing and product management planning activities.

Your background should include:
• 7+ years of technical product & service sales.
• Telephone and email-based customer relationship building skills.
• Pan European and North American market engagement.
• Strong communication skills, presentation skills and pitch / proposal generation skills.
• Use of CRM and sales management and reporting tools.

c£45,000 base (OTE £90,000) plus benefits
