Mobile marketing and advertising seem to have been growing rapidly in the past few years in terms of technical capabilities, creative ideas, and user acceptance.
Now new information from the IAB UK shows that advertising budgets are also making a major shift towards mobile, with 15% of 2014’s digital spend expected to go to mobile activities.

Twice a year the IAB (Internet Advertising Bureau) sponsors a survey of internet related advertising revenues. Conducted by PricewaterhouseCoopers. The study provides a very detailed, interesting look at the key trends in internet advertising, including Mobile.
The study reported that mobile advertising revenues in the US grew by over 100% during 2012, the fastest growing segment of the entire internet advertising industry!

A recent survey in the UK by the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) has found that the value of mobile transactions is rapidly increasing, although the overall uptake of mobile commerce remains relatively flat.
During the past year, the average value of mobile transactions has risen from £12.20 to £17.49, an increase of 43%. more»
