AOL has had some difficulty in combining the business operations of all the advertising companies it has acquired in recent years – Third Screen Media, Lightningcast, AdTech, Tacoda, Quigo, Perifilliate,<\/strong> and Advertising.com<\/strong>. However, Gibbs points to the two recent deals that AOL’s Platform A<\/strong> has concluded as evidence of AOL’s growing prowess in the mobile market.<\/p>\n
A recent article written by Colin Gibbs <\/strong>and published by RCR Wireless News <\/strong>gives an interesting overview of AOL’s<\/strong> recent activities in mobile advertising. The article shows that while AOL has been losing ground to Google<\/strong>, Microsoft<\/strong> and Yahoo<\/strong> in the online advertising market, they are actually doing well in the mobile advertising market. <\/p>\n\n
