\n We listed here a number of activities that are of special interest to those involved with mobile advertising and marketing.<\/p>\n \n For those who have been to MWC previously, you know that it covers every aspect of mobile communications, from hardware to handsets to services and content. The real issue is finding the activities that you are interested in.<\/p>\n We’ve looked through the program for 2010, and here are some things you won’t want to miss if you are interested in mobile advertising and marketing.<\/p>\n Always a highlight of MWC, the award winners will be announced at a special ceremony Tuesday afternoon, followed by the gala awards dinner that evening. <\/ul>\n
It is that time of year again, when the entire mobile community starts making plans to attend the Mobile World Congress<\/strong>. This year the GSMA<\/strong> is expecting around 50,000 visitors in Barcelona for the 4 day event.<\/p>\n

\nStarting off with 3 high-powered keynote sessions – moderated by Jim Cook of MobiAD News – followed by a session about the GSMA sponsored Mobile Metrics project, and finally wrapping up with presentations about creativity, widgets, touchscreens, videos and how to make mobile marketing an engaging experience.<\/li>\n

\nApp Planet is an \u201cevent within an event\u201d at MWC 2010 that will present the many dimensions of the critically important mobile applications market. Targeted at developers, operators, content providers, and platform owners.<\/li>\n

\nA full day dedicated to the rapidly emerging topic of mobile money – financial inclusion in emerging markets, impact of new technologies in advanced geographies, mobile money transfer, NFC, and more.<\/li>\n
