Yahoo! announced five new oneSearch partnerships with mobile phone operators in the Asia-Pacific region. The deals are with Mahanagar Telephon Nigam (India), Hong Kong CSL, Smart Communications (Philippines), Digital Mobile Phlis (SUN Cellular, Philippines) and Vibo Telecom (Taiwan). Yahoo also announced mobile advertising partnerships with idea Cellular (India) and Maxis Communications (Malaysia).

At the same time, Yahoo! announced the launch of local versions of Yahoo! Go 3.0 in India, Australia and southeast Asia, including an Indonesian language version, and an English version of oneSearch with voice that recognizes regional accents.
