Medio launches performance-based MobileNow Ad Network.

medio_logoMobile search provider Medio Systems has launched their own ad network to go along with their exisiting mobile search agreements. Youth oriented MVNO Amp’d Mobile will be the first to use the MobileNow service, though several additional advertising partnerships with other wireless operators are expected to become public in the next 90 days.

Medio’s MobileNow will enable advertisers to place pay-per-click ads in both operator portal sites as well as off-portal sites from Medio’s off-deck network. The precision ad targeting that power’s the Medio MobileNow Ad Network is based on the same technological advances that drive the search experience for Medio’s current partners.

Ads are priced and served by auction, and are charged on a price per click basis.

According to Omar Tawakol, chief advertising officer for Medio Systems. “By providing consumers a click-saving experience that returns actionable answers matched with highly relevant ad messages, the Medio MobileNow Ad Network can drive a much higher ROI for advertisers.”
