Admob, a leading mobile ad serving company, recently closed a $15million round of financing, led by Accel Partners, and including previous investor Sequoia Capital. Admob also announced some statistics on the targeting of the ads served.
Admob had announced in January that it had served 1billion ads in the previous 6 month period. (see MobiAD interview with Russell Buckley). In the subsequent 2 month period, Admob served an additional 600million ads, indicating a substantial growth for the company and for the industry.
