Bluetooth Campaign Achieves 49% Conversion Rate

bluetooth_logo.gifParachute Marketing Group used Hypertags for its mobile marketing campaign at the Wisconsin state fair and achieved a 49% conversion rate. Visitors were encouraged to download a series of free ringtones and wallpapers to their cell phones via Hypertag wearable units.

“After designing and implementing programs at state fairs, festivals and trade shows, we have shown that Hypertag units are a perfect way to activate a brand and educate consumers at the point of sponsorship.” Says Parachute President and CEO, Brett Cutler.

hypertag.jpgExhibitor Magazine this month featured Parachute’s campaign in its “New Tools” edition. In it, Exhibitor describes the great value that Hypertag brought to B2B trade shows. Trade show staffs were fitted with wearable Hypertags thus creating significant drive to the client’s booth.

“Exhibitors have discovered that today’s smaller, gadget-loaded cell phones make great marketing tools. Hypertag Ltd., a Bluetooth proximity-marketing service, can broadcast messages, screen savers, wallpaper, and ring tones directly to attendees phones for free. Hypertag uses fixed and wearable devices to transmit the messages. The fixed device can be set up in a kiosk in the booth, while the wearable bug allows staffers to interact with attendees.”

Cutler went on to say, “Bluetooth proximity marketing is the future of direct marketing that combines mobile, one-to-one and brand activation. With the launch of our new products in January, we are looking forward to closing out a successful year while gearing up for the explosive 2008 year.

Hypertags will be used at Wisconsin, Iowa and Nebraska’s state fairs as well as at Northwestern University football games this season.
