Amp’d Mobile first to use ThirdScreen for Video Ads

Amp’dThird Screen Media and Amp’d Mobile announced that they would be working together to include advertising into the video offerings of the operator, using Third Screen’s MADX technology.

Amp’d Mobile is a 3G MVNO in the US that is targeting the young, early adopter market. Third Screen will be ad enabling the entire breadth of the Amp’d content offering, including linear TV, video on demand services, and WAP sites. The Amp’d Live user interface has the opportunity for promotional messages and this inventory will also be served by Third Screen.

The Third Screen service will also be used to work with the Medio search and search advertising technology. Medio and Amp’d recently announced that Medio would be the search partner for Amp’d (link).

In addition, Third Screen will act as the advertising sales agent for the Amp’d Mobile ad inventory.
