Turkcell is the largest mobile operator in Turkey, with 37 million subs. They have been very innovative in the area of mobile advertising and marketing, with their “Tone and Win” service winning this year’s GSMA award for “Best Mobile Advertising Service“.

AdMob Reports Strong Growth Of Android Phones

AndroidAdMob has released their network data report for March, 2009. The report shows that worldwide requests on the AdMob ad network grew 17% from a month earlier to 7.7 billion.

US Mobile Operators Reach Agreement On Mobile Marketing Standards

us_operators.gifThe MMA (Mobile Marketing Association) has announced that the top 4 US mobile operators (Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&T) have agreed to incorporate their “mobile marketing guidelines” into the MMA’s best practices guidelines.
